Swirlyhues Color Challenge
Here is the first LO. I used Lisa's Postage stamp tutorial from Swirlydoos Amazing Tutorials. Used Kraft paper as my Background along with MME pattern paper. I chose other patterns from the same line for thelayers and I love the look of doilies so I folded it to add dimension and layered it with Prima crochet doilies and flowers. I used a kaisercraft wooden flourish and Prima Bling. I also used a MS punch. I so enjoyed this challenge I created this LO the day the Challenge was revealed.
Swirlyhues Color Challenge
I submitted 2 Layouts for the color challenge and the main reason I started this blog. I have made all kinds of mistakes and forget my own address. Here are my LO for the challenge. I used Birdsong paper from Pion Designs. I fell for the paper and hunted it down until I found it. I used Kraft paper as my Background and it is peeping through the MS punch around the page design. White, blue and kraft color roses were hand made by me and the tutorial I followed is from Camilla on layering. The blue blooms and doily are from Prima and crocheted lace I cannot take credit for I found them at the dollar store. The pic is my baby sister Julie dancing with our dad at her wedding. I am learning so much and can't wait until the October challenge.
