Swirlydoos Ultimate Design Challenge/ SOUS

I used a SOUS sketch for the springboard I needed for my Swirlydoos project.  I have been super busy with work and my family commitments that I forgot to post the page on my blog.

Inkido Black and White Photo Challenge " Major Cutie"

I am enjoying the last days before I head back to work on Monday.  I am scrapping while the kids are in school and truly enjoying the Peace and Quiet. My friend Cathi told me about this new Challenge and I thought I would enter this page.  I did have some treasured Inkido paper in my stash. The Springtime Collection.  I found a picture of my Nephew Asher and it was all I needed to get this page completed.  Here it is "Major Cutie"

 

Paper Mixing Bowl January Recipe Challenge -Sushi

Here is my first official Design Team Reveal for Paper Mixing Bowl.  I hope you can find time to play and create using our Recipe card.  Here is my take on the sketch and recipe.  I used A Pink Paislee Mistable paper and Heidi Swapp Tropical Teal color shine spray and black soot Distress stain splotches.  I added frames of my daughter's Graduation Photo and tucked a quote from a book.   I added several blooms from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts to cradle the pictures.  I also used a Lucky 8 Punch and put the pieces back together on a silver card stock.

Once Upon a Sketch Jan Challenge

I am trying a OUAS page.  I used some Prima Rondelle and originally had planned to use a pic of myself but I could not find the one I want so it will have to wait.   My Nephew Asher filled in perfectly.    I am still using pictures taken at my Sister's Family Portrait photo shoot.   The New is the next generation in our Family which is Asher.  He is also a new walker and is amazed by everything.

I worked on a page today.  I followed the sketch and used BoBunny Powder Mountain. Petaloo vine and Prima blooms. Martha Stewart snowflake punch.  I also added some navy spritz. Here is the sketch followed by my page.

Stuck on U Sketches Cherished Memories

I hope  everyone is enjoying 2013 so far. I plan to have at least 52 blog posts this year.  Here is my first for 2013.  I took a Stuck on You sketch and combined it with some Powder Mountain and my Sister's Family Portrait.  I was able to incorporate some scraps in this page. The snowflake border was extra and I grabbed a blue card stock from my stash and white washed it with Gesso.  The flowers were made with scraps of jeans and material.  The large flower is from Prima.  I also used a piece of twine that had cherished memories written on it.
