Sketchabilities #88

Here is the Sketch #88 at Sketchabilities. I used London Market and some MME Chevron paper.  I braided some twine and made the circles. Handstitched and used a Crocheted Doily. I added prima blooms and a Cathio Butterfly. This is my Daughter Serena when she was 17.5 months old.  The Dress was a present from my Dad and is a Family Heirloom. Red Carpet Studio Card Challenge. Secret Garden

I have made a card today. I have had some scrappy goodness arrive in the mail and made this for a card challenge at Red Carpet Studios.  I had to have at least 1 flower.  I used Prima's Divine Collection and some Prima flowers.  I left it generic so it could be used for any Occasion. The other material I used are the embossing folder and a Broken earring.

Our next challenge to our paper crafters is to have something on your project that is wet or dry embossed.

Here is my Layout.  I used Kaisercraft 75 cents paper collection. The embossed items are the Teddy bear images from http://www.zibbet.com/CraftingBoutique Winner of challenge will get a $10 spending spree at Crafting Boutique.

I painted the image with pearl watercolor paints then ran the image through a swiss dot folder on my cuttle bug.  The adorable little guy is my nephew Asher. My friend Joanne caught his reflection in the window of the train we were taking to Toronto.

Sketchabilities 87

Here is my first Design Team page for sketchabilities Challenge Blog. I used Authentique Lovely Collection.  I added Recollection and Wild Orchid Craft roses.  Prima bling and a variety of doilies.  I was able to hang the hearts on thread and did some hand stitching. I used some older tile letters I have had in my stash. The picture is my daughter Cherish after she had her face painted at Hollywood Studios in Florida.  I hope you get some time to create and join us at Sketchabilities.
