turning one scrapfit sketch # 74

My little cousin Hadley turned one August 11, 2012.  Her mom sent picture invitations out and I used some of those pics for this page.  I used Lakehouse paper and a prima brick mask and molding paste. I also added a couple squirts of pink mist.  Recollection blooms, doilies and Webster's Pages letters.

Creative Scrappers #222 Cherish

I love this sketch and love this Collection. Tea thyme by Prima.  I used paper and journal boxes to complete the sketch.  I made a faux polaroid and used Wild orchid mini roses to create the heart. I also added a Dusty Attic word and some ribbon roses.

Stuck on U sketches Aug 17 Sketch challenge

We had a family reunion this past weekend and My Aunt Faith gave me a 5 x 7 of my Mom and their brother Clifford.  They were 16 and 17 yrs old and it was Easter. My Grandmother had made all her girls dresses and the boys were also in their Sunday Best. I still have to get copies of the group pics that were taken.    I used Melissa Frances paper, trim and Prima Resins.. Seven Gypsies mini letters and Manor House and wild orchid flowers.

Stuck on U Sketches Diecut Challenge School is Cool

I made a page for Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge.  The theme is School is Cool.  I used G 45 ABC Primer collection. I cut the Diecuts myself using the collection and Images on the paper.  I added a Prima vine and G45  letters.  The model is my DD Cherish.  Her Kindergarten photo.  I have to change the date on the original it was actually 2009. Karrah was in Kindergarten in 2007.  OOPs.

Creative Scrappers # 221 BE NICE

It will be my 23rd Anniversary in a couple weeks.  Would you believe I don't have a completed Scrapbook. I have bits and pieces scrapped but I hope to sit down soon and scrap all those precious memories.  I used the Creative Scrappers # 221 for this page.  The Pic of Rob and I feeding each other our wedding cake. It did get a little messy but not as bad as it could of been.

 I used Pion paper. A square doily and Molding paste. I topped with round doilies one has chalkboard mist applied. I used Pink Paislee wooden letters and a mix of flowers Prima, reflections. wild orchid. The felt butterflies are from a LSS.  More Journalling is on the tag behind the pic.

Stuck on U Sketches Aug 3 Challenge

I was working on this page today and while reading about the diecut challenge I saw my Ohana LO in the top 3.  I was so excited I did not know what to do.  Very exciting indeed.  I have a LO to add for the next  Sketch Challenge.  This one was very hard.  I used a 8x10 pic and cut and put it back together for the collage effect. I used Bobunny Country Garden Paper.  I turned sketch on its side.  

Baby Love Cest Magnifique August Sketch

I have had some time to play with these lovely papers.  I pulled this page together. I followed sketch and used August Kit mainly.  I have misplaced my embellishments in my pile of scrappy goodness but was able to find some treasures I forgot I had. The pics are of my Daughter Taylene when she was 3 months old.  I named it Baby Love and tucked a journal tag behind right pic. The lace is a vintage trim I picked up at a beautiful antique shop. I used a strip of Prima packaging and crinkled it with a crimper.  I added a heart doily and I beaded on it. I also tucked the lakehouse rose stickers in on the right If I do this right I will post the sketch I followed and the page I created.

Following the sketch I put this together using Maja Design paper . My journal tag is above behind the fence.   Flowers are a mix from previous kits I have had.

My Loves Creative Scrapper #220

I have a page to enter at Creative Scrapper.  I followed the sketch and used Vintage summer basics from Maja Design. I used a doily and molding paste.  I followed up with some mist.  The flowers are from Prima and Petaloo.

I have been working on another sketch. This one from Creative Scrappers.  I followed sketch and used G45 Ladies Diary.  The pics are from My first pregnancy and birth of my first daughter Jacey.  Hard to believe that was 22 years ago. 

Adventure Papermixing Bowl August 2012 Challenge

I am a very new blogger as you can tell by my short posts.  I am trying to improve but my computer time is limited and I feel like I am stealing time just to create a page so that makes it harder to upload and then have to think to.  But my girls are asleep and I am going to post this before I head off to dream land. Here is the page I created and the sketch I followed from Paper Mixing bowl.  I created my page using a 12 x 12 cardboard I tore the first layer of paper off to reveal the inside. I then used G45 Tropical Travelogue paper and tore that into strips and alternated the patterns of the paper. My next layer is a rectangle lime coloured paper It is sanded. Next is a cut out shape Postage stamp print followed by my burlap mats and pics. I tucked the journal behind the pic and added a flower and some shells. My transparent object is the corners and a Postcard is behind pictures. I added a Diecut shape and adventure ticket for my title from the collection and used twine around the pics that are attached with clothes pins.  I finished by smearing molding paste on the cardboard.

I remember Scrapfit #73

I worked on this page for the Scrapfit Challenge #73.  The words "I Remember" Had to be on page.  I used Kaisercraft Lakehouse collection.  My youngest daughter Cherish when she was a newborn.  I remember when .... You were born a perfect day. July 30,2003. The day my heart mulitiplied by 6.

Sketchabilities

Here is my first Sketchabilities entry.  I used Pink Paislee paper and mini roses from Prima.  I also added gesso to tone down colors of paper.

Swirlyhues Taylene

Here is the Swirlyhues Sketch and Pallete for this month. I Followed sketch and also used Lisa V's tutorial on Molding paste.  Flowers from previous kits and special crocheted flowers from CathiO I added mini roses to the centers.
