Little Wonders Scrapbooking Design Team Reveal
I
would like to officially WELCOME these talented ladies to the Little Wonders
Family as members of the new 2013-2014 Little Wonders Scrapbooking Design
Team!!
There
are Three designers joining us this year.
All
of them have come on board to inspire you with their own unique style using our
latest designs over the next twelve months. I can't wait to see what they
create and feel So lucky to have them here!!
So
say "Hello!" to The Little Wonders Scrapbooking 2013-2014 Design
Team!!
My name is Jen
Waugh and I am originally from Scotland. I spent 4 years living in
Houston, Texas before moving to Perth, Australia in September 2011.
I am a married, mum of 4 children, ranging in ages from 4 to 23.
I first got interested in scrap booking in 2011 when someone very close to me sadly passed away.
I wanted to preserve our memories together and scrap booking seemed the natural choice.
I didn't know where
to start, I had never been a creative or arty person and I put the idea
on hold whilst I moved from the USA to Australia. I was here for 2
months when I discovered a local shop running classes.
My Creative Journey
began in January 2012 and I haven't looked back since. It's funny to
think that 18 months later, I am now on the Design Team for that very
shop and teaching classes there. My favourite way to share and preserve
my memories are layouts and mini albums.
My style is very
diverse ranging from shabby chic to Steampunk, I love leaning new
techniques and incorporating mixed media into my projects. However, my
big passion is altered art. I love finding "treasure" in Op shops and
turning them into beautiful pieces of art.
I am so excited to
be part of the Little Wonders Scrapbooking Design Team. Erin has created
a paper line that is unlike any other in the market place. Beautiful,
vibrant colours and unique designs. To be part of the first launch is
truly an honour and I can't wait to get started
Hi My name is Connie Hall aka Cherished online.
I live in Akwesasne with my family. Akwesasne Borders Canada and the United States. 2 provinces and 1 state.
I
have been a scrapbooker for over 10 years but my style changed after
the loss of my Mother 2 years ago. Now I tend to take each moment and
Cherish each Happy memory and go all out when preserving it.
I love Pretty paper, flowers, molding paste, masks, doilies and lace. I usually make 12x12 pages. but have started to make mini albums and Off the page projects.
I look forward to creating with the gorgeous papers and products from Little Wonders and providing inspiration for others.
I'm
originally from NZ, and moved to Perth 21 years ago. I live with my
husband of almost 19 years, our three teenage daughters, two dogs, and
two cats - there's never a dull moment in our house!
I've
been creating for as long as I remember - starting with things such as
pompoms when I was young, my Mum taught me to knit when I was in my
early teens, I learnt to sew after I left home and did that was my thing
for many years. I started scrapping about 7 years ago when I picked up
a kit at a local cheap shop, and found I really enjoyed it.
I
enjoy creating layouts, usually single photos, although I've been known
to use more or even do the occasional double layout in order to tell my
story. I'm not a big fan of mini albums - I find them too hard to
store, and I don't always have enough photos to fill them up. I do tend
to create a "blank" mini album for our rare holidays away though, and
use them as a travel diary, journaling in them each night while we're
away, and adding photos & memorabilia when we get home again. I
also enjoy creating home decor canvasses & off the page items.
My
favourite thing about any design team is the challenge of using
products that I might not pick myself, it tends to really get my
creative juices flowing and I'm sure creating for Little Wonders
Scrapbooking will be no exception. I love the previews I've seen of the
paper ranges and can't wait to get started.
Congrats my friend!! So ecited for you!!
