Our Story

Our story began on a beautiful morning in early September 1989.  I remember the day like it happened yesterday. I was worried about the weather it was cloudy but the sun was shining and rain or shine I was marrying my best friend.   We celebrate 27 years of marriage this year. 

I have used this paper collection recently for my Niece Aryanna's Wedding Scrapbook and decided I wanted some of my Wedding Pictures in the same collection.  Here is the sketch I used from Stuck?! Sketches. 

I am also using this page as an audition for Shabby is Chic Boutique.

Look at those young kids.  They followed their hearts and six kids later are still in love.  I have to admit I am glad I waited for the supplies you can get today are much different than in 1989.

Karrah Pretty Cute

There has been so much going on in my household.  Renovations and getting the kids ready for school.  I found this treasure of Karrah on her first day of Kindergarten. She had been on the ketogenic diet almost a year and was leaving her Special Education class for the mainstream Kindergarten.

Slowly getting back to my Disney photo's I am hoping to have them scrapped before our next trip. But I am not making any promises. Here are 2 of my girls walking towards the tram at Magic Kingdom.

Painted a generous layer of White Gesso on bottom and it created a resist and interesting colour mixing.

To Love and be Loved

So here is the new sketch for July week 4 at Let's get Sketchy.

I have now completed the album and delivered it to the bride. Her mother is going to keep it safe while she travels to start her new life as an Airforce Wife.  We plan on sending the album to her digitally for now.  That also gives me more time to fine tune and add more pages.

Sweet LGS

Not sure what has been going on but since my kids finished school I have a hard time getting onto the wifi.  Summer fun is in full swing.  The weather could cooperate a bit better but at least it is not snowing.  I have a page another wedding page.  I created her wedding album and I am half way through and used sketches for my inspiration.  Here is my DT page for Let's Get Sketchy and the sketch.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I was one lucky mom who was able to scrap Friday saturday and Sunday. My family truly pampered me and I am blessed.  I am still working with my Nieces Wedding Pictures. Here is the sketch at Let's Get Sketchy. Hope you get to join the challenge this month.
