Grandma's Treasures.

We have a Blizzard on the last day before Christmas Vacation.  No Snow Days for the kids but perfect day for scrapping.  I used a sketch from Stuck Sketches. and also used some elements to be able to enter this page at Frosted Designs. 

I used a 12 x 12 by Jodie Lee the delight collection. I punched around the page with a MS punch. I folded a scrap from the A4 paper pad and some crocheted lace from my stash.  I found some blooms from recollections, petaloo, WOC, and a couple I made myself.

The elements I added to be eligible for the Frosted Designs challenge incude.  Cream coloured- paper, flowers,  Paper bag is behind picture and serves as a journal card envelope.  Roses I used Cream coloured, Pink and cranberry,  I also added a blue sash and bow on the picture.

The elements I used are the creams and pinks.  I was also drawn to the word Joy and simple Pleasures. My Mom had pet  names for all her Grand kids from Treasure, Sweetheart, Darling, Joy, Sunshine, Jewel, Princess, Prince and Buttercup. Asher is our little LOVE but he is the King of our Universe.   I miss my mother especially around the Holidays and getting pictures of all the Grandchildren was often a present to her.
